Merced County isn’t just where I work. It’s where I grew up, where my family farms, and where I have spent my life proudly serving Merced County students and families.

For over 37 years, I’ve had the honor of working in our schools as a teacher, principal, and superintendent. I’ve personally seen the difference when parents are involved, teachers are supported, and students are given the means they need to succeed.

As El Nido Elementary School District Superintendent, my staff and I have set high expectations, provided strong academics, and offered families real support. Thanks to this commitment, students are achieving at high levels and entering high school better prepared.

I’m running for Merced County Superintendent of Schools because I believe every child deserves opportunity, every teacher deserves support, and every parent deserves a voice in their child’s education.

Our community has given so much to my family and me. I would be honored to continue serving Merced County families while ensuring every student has the chance to succeed.
